Things never work out the way you want though, do they?! The band ended up playing later then originally thought and some of the guys wanted to go home. So we ended up doing a super quick set up outside the venue. And when I say super quick, I do mean SUPER QUICK! I don't think the whole thing took more then 5 minutes.
I got 2 friends to hold the flashguns for me, one to the right and one to the left. Sadly the light stand to the right was not happy and complained about the cold and wanting to go home...blahblahblah...
The pavement was quite narrow and I ended up stepping onto the street to get everyone into the frame (no fancy zooms here, I shoot with prime lenses!). Talk about risking life and limb for the shot!
In the end I got two usable shots and the band seem to like 'em and that is really all that matters, isn't it?!

The light to the right should have come more forward to avoid the shadow on Fraser's face (second from the right).
Oh look! A singer who never shuts up!

Again, light light on the right isn't in the right position, casting shadows I didn't want! Danny and Kabir on the left are looking out for traffic as I was standing on the road at this point. I'm pretty sure Kabir is telling me to "Watch out!" at this moment.
I also converted the above picture to black and white. Everyone (Danny and Ramesh) was looking rather colourful, so I thought it might make 'em look more gritty.
