Monday Night Gig And Not A Photo In Sight

I went to the Barfly on Monday night. It was a good night with some great music but, as always, the lights sucked! Badly! Red all around the stage (front and back) apart from two very bright strobe type lights at the back to the right and left. POINTLESS!!!

I just don't understand why lighting guys (or is it the sound engineer who doesn't know what he/she/it is doing?!) think it looks great to make the band look like they are playing in a brothel?!
