The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart

I went to see The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart again on Thursday at Heaven. I am totally aware of the fact that that sentence sounds really silly to anyone who doesn’t know that The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart are a band and Heaven is a venue, but trust me, despite the silly name, this band is awesome!

The support band (Yuck. No really, that is their name!) was already playing when we got there but I instantly like them. Great 90s sounding indie music with some brilliant guitar noises thrown in for good measure. We wanted to buy a CD, but they didn’t have any (Major support band error! Always have CDs to sell! ALWAYS!!!!), so we bought a t-shirt instead!

Seeing as Heaven is like a “real” venue, I wouldn’t have been allowed to take my DSLR, so this was a good opportunity to try out the Canon Powershot. It’s not great, but it does the job if I don’t have my Alpha with me.
