Secret Cinema Band at Hoxton Cell

I do love Secret Cinema but why oh why do they insist on playing battle of the bands type competitions to get themselves onto festivals?! This particular one was to play a festival in Canada, of all places! Unsurprisingly they won this competition (I saw 2 bands playing before Secret Cinema took to the stage; dreadful!)  and are off to Canada at the end of September.

As for Hoxten Cell, it's another shitty basement venue with no lights in trendy Hoxton. At least it wasn't red though!
